Abstract
The quality requirements for soil measurements depend upon the use of the resulting data. In this paper, quality requirements from a regulatory environmental perspective are introduced together with a toolbox to improve the quality of environmental measurements. Standardization, being one of the tools for quality improvement, is discussed in depth, and an overview of the activities of the international standards committee ISO/PC 190 “Soil Quality”; is given. Keywords
