Observations on the Effect of the Milrow Nuclear Test on Marine Organisms at Amchitka

Abstract
Short-term live-box experiments, direct observations, and exploratory fishing did not detect any major biological effect of Milrow, although a few fish were observed floating near shore. Long-term studies are assessing changes in an intertidal bench area, probably displaced vertically by Milrow, and environmental changes caused by rock that fell into the intertidal zone.
