Facio‐cardio‐renal syndrome: a newly delineated recessive disorder

Abstract
A previously undescribed genetic syndrome with multiple congenital malformations is described. The major components include: horseshoe kidneys; severe mental retardation; characteristic facies and heart defects. Evidence for it to be considered an autosomal recessive syndrome is also discussed.
