Abstract
The severity of rheumatoid arthritis in 20 groups of limb joints was evaluated by means of 661 skeletal radiologic examinations on 188 patients. The severity of the disease was classified by grades 0 to 5 in accordance with Larsen's grading system and was related to the duration of the condition. The result differs at several points from results in other surveys. Keywords
