Abstract
General modeling techniques are presented to provide utility companies with a tool for analyzing the test data collected from their own systems. It is shown that benefits from load management may be assessed in different ways depending upon the goals to be achieved. To illustrate the use of the models presented, the results of the North and South Carolina water heater load control experiments are presented. Keywords
