Abstract
The frequencies of chromosomal abnormalities in the peripheral leukocytes of eight men exposed to mixed gamma and fission neutron irradiation in 1958 were reinvestigated. Blood samples were obtained for the present study 42 months after the accident occurred; the original study was made 29 months after the accident. The men continue to show chromosomal aberrations, both "gross", such as dicentric chromosomes, and "minor", such as pericentric inversions and deletions detectable only by karyotype analysis. The frequencies of abnormalities appears to have dropped somewhat in most of the cases and markedly in one during the 13 month interval between studies.
