Abstract
Individual LS multiplet energies are calculated using a relativistic atomic Hartree-Fock procedure. The results obtained are in excellent agreement with non-relativistic values. The approach outlined enables the relativistic contribution to the individual multiplets to be evaluated. Extension of the procedure to problems of interest within the intermediate-coupling framework is straightforward. Keywords
