Abstract
3,4-Dimethylaniline and 3,4-dimethylacetanilide are excreted by rats as 4-acetamido-2-methylbenzoic acid, 2-amino-4,5-dimethylphenyl sulfate and probably 4-amino-2-methylbenzoylglucosiduronic acid. Small amounts of 3,4-dimethylsulfamic acid and 3,4-dimethylacetanilide were formed from 3,4-dimethylaniline. The behavior on paper chromatograms of a number of these compounds is described. Keywords
