Abstract
A periodic boundary condition in 3-D analysis is examined. The definition of 3-D periodic phenomena is clarified, and the periodic conditions for the A-φ boundary conditions are shown by analyzing some models and observing that the CPU time is considerably decreased. The periodic condition is applied to the analysis of an actual induction motor</pKeywords
