Abstract
TCM[trichlormethiazide] apparently had no significant effect on the heart rate and growth curves of DOC[deoxycorticosterone acetate]-treated rats. TCM significantly inhibited development of hypertension and showed a diuretic effect in DOC hypertensive rats at daily dosages over 0.2 mg/kg orally. Dosages of TC given herein correspond fairly well to clinical dosages. The antihypertensive effect of TCM in the DOC hypertensive rats is presumed to be associated with its diuretic effect. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
