Abstract
The finding place and the finding circumstances of the probably complete skeleton of an aurochs are reported. The find was made during excavation of a small fen, 1 km SW of Nevishög church in Scania. It is pollen analytically and radiometrically dated to the transition between the Early and Late Boreal periods. Earlier finds of aurochs in Scania are discussed. Keywords
