Abstract
The recently described but little-recognized entity of pseudocarcinomatous invasion or epithelial misplacement in adenomatous polyps of the colon and rectum is discussed, with the presentation of a recent [human] case. The entity''s clinical characteristics, histologic features and pathogenesis are described.
