Abstract
In 5 spp. of fetal monkeys ganglia were found in rami communicantes, particularly numerous in lower cervical, upper thoracic and lumbar regions. The number of ganglia in the individual fetuses were 2, 6, 9, 15 and 18. Previous studies revealed that, in the mouse, similar ganglia were absent. In cat, rabbit and rat they were present only in the caudal area. Keywords
