Abstract
The thermal conductivity λ and thermoelectric figure of merit z of Sb films with thicknesses from 27 to 230 nm are measured in the temperature range 80 to 400 K. The lattice thermal conductivity λφ is determined from the measured total thermal conductivity λ and the calculated charge carrier contribution λe. The results are discussed in the framework of a two‐band model for the charge carriers and of a grain boundary and surface scattering model for phonons. The transport properties of isotropic and texturized films are compared. Keywords
