Abstract
Mean length of utterance (MLU) of children with Down syndrome was examined and found to correlate highly with chronological age r=.87, p < 0.01, despite the children''s language delays. The correlation was reliable at least up to MLU 3.00. In the 1.00 to 3.50 range, MLU also predicted grammatical complexity. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
