Abstract
Seeds from 19 cultivars of 4 lupin species were analysed for specific alkaloids by a gas-liquid Chromatographic (GLC) procedure. The major alkaloid component was lupanine. The very high alkaloid content of some of the “sweet” lupin seeds makes them unsuitable as a protein source. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
