Separation of Lymphocytes in Human Blood by Means of Glass Wool Column.

Abstract

Human whole blood was passed slowly through a short column of siliconized glass wool at room temperature. The granulocytes were retained (73-100%) on the column, while apparently uninjured lymphocytes were found in 30-89% yield in the effluent blood.
