Abstract
In the original item factor analysis of the ACL, evidence was found for seven main factors. In a cross-validation sample, item factor analysis using an altered procedure showed five of the seven factors were replicated. It was concluded that a somewhat stable factor structure of the ACL does exist. However, more factor analyses of this instrument are needed before the factorial validity of the instrument can be established. Keywords
