Abstract
By combination of the benefits of magnetic and inertial confinements, a new fusion scheme is introduced with a plasma density of ≳ whose pressure is confined by inertia of a metallic container of a cannonball type while its heat is insulated by a self-generated magnetic field of ≳100 T.
