Abstract
Color of patients showed marked variation in amt. and location of flushing especially in pre-comatose stage and pallor in stage of deep coma. Persistent increased venous pulsation in neck, increased pulse pressure, a drop in diastolic pressure which may reach zero, and occasionally a capillary pulsation were found. There were no untoward cardiac complications with carefully selected cases. A persistent significant increase (4-24%) in diam. of heart occurred especially in the basal region. Keywords
