Abstract
The use of mass relationships for extrapolative purposes is based on a randomness assumption which is globally fulfilled. According to this assumption, specific correlations are expected within the experimentally observed deviations from the relationships, when shifts in the plane are performed. In reality, however, we find anomalous values of these correlations.
