Abstract
A revision is given of the genus Ditiola with taxonomic history preceding the systematic treatment. The character of prime importance in generic definition is the heterogeneous composition of the basidiocarp with a zone of thin-walled hyphae adjacent to the hymenium and a zone of thick-walled hyphae in the basal part or stipe. Within the genus, D. radicata Fries is recognized, as the only valid sp. Two vars. are proposed: D. radicata var. radicata and D. radicata var. gyrocephala (Dacryopsis gyrocephala (Berk. et Curt.) Massee). This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
