Abstract
The interval between the onsets of the QRS complex and of the brachial Korotkoff sounds at the diastolic pressure in 23 cases of hyperthyroidism was distinctly shorter, 0.15 [plus or minus] 0.002 sec. (SE), than the interval of 0.21 [plus or minus] 0.004 sec. obtained in euthyroid subjects. Measurement of this interval offers a simple, safe, rapidly obtained index of thyroid function. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
