Teacher Talk on E-Mail

Abstract
A high school English teacher and a university teacher who met through inservice activities converse via e-mail concerning their cooperative project in electronic literacy. Threads of the conversation include the frustrations of system crashes, the successes and failures of students, and the beginning of the high school teacher's own dissertation. References to technology include experiences with e-mail, an LCD panel, a LAN-equipped writing center, and closed circuit television.
