Abstract
With less man hours and acreage per production unit, agricultural productivity has increased significantly. The increased efficiency has been associated with a number of environmental quality problems. This review emphasizes animal production as an example of the changes that have occurred in agriculture. The major topic areas include land disposal of wastes, runoff, odors, water pollution, and waste management.Keywords
