Abstract
We demonstrate that the spin relaxation rates in gaseous spin-polarized atomic hydrogen exhibit large exchange corrections. The experimentally observed nuclear relaxation rates should be considered as a clear experimental proof of the boson character of atomic hydrogen. We have calculated the relaxation rates for the b → a and for the b → c processesKeywords
