Abstract
CARDIAC lesions that produce signs like those of aortic stenosis usually have an actual physical similarity. Thus, the murmur and thrill of pulmonic stenosis are virtually indistinguishable from those of aortic stenosis, although their location and the relation of the components to the second sound differ slightly. Conversely, it is most unusual to find a seemingly unrelated lesion causing a hemodynamic situation reproducing the signs of aortic stenosis.Such a case has been reported by Osmundson, Callahan and Edwards. A "jet lesion" was found on the left atrial wall, closely approximate to the aortic valve. It was postulated that a . . .Keywords
