Abstract
A series of monosubstituted phenethanolamines with N-isopropyl and N-tert-butyl substituents were prepared. A detailed pharmacological study was made of the .beta.-adrenergic activity of these materials as the N substituent and the nature and position of the phenyl substituent were changed, and their selectivity was determined for .beta.1- and .beta.2-adrenoceptors in guinea pig trachea and atrium and cat soleus muscle. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
