Abstract
Using the Green-Kubo relations it is shown that the generalized Onsager matrix for cellular automaton fluids is positive semidefinite. This implies linear stability of the hydrodynamic modes about equilibrium. The result applies to all lattice-gas automata admitting a stationary equilibrium state that is invariant under translations of the lattice. Keywords
