Abstract
The total conversion coefficient, , of the -ray continuum has been determined as a function of -ray energy from 0.5 to 2.5 MeV. The results are consistent with a mixture of and for MeV, with a smooth increase of the fraction with up to ∼1.5 MeV. At lower energy, in the upper half of the yrast region, shows the expected dominance of radiation, but for the lower half an increasing contribution is found.
