Abstract
The following order of increase in potency was found: andro-stanediol benzoate, androstenedione, testosterone oxime, testosterone benzoate, testosterone, urine extract, testosterone diacetate, testosterone acetate, testosterone propionate. Lengthening of interval between injections resulted in decrease of efficacy. Difference in the activity of the acetate, diacetate and propionate from the benzoate is attributed to the ability of the animal organism to hydrolyze the former compounds more satisfactorily. Weights of adrenals were not affected. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
