Abstract
Children and adults were tested for visual form recognition on incomplete representations of familiar common objects after training on complete representations of the objects. Number of training trials, delay between training and test, and age were found to affect recognition. The results are discussed in terms of reactive inhibition and perceptual learning. Keywords
