Abstract
The operating characteristics of an efficient 60 mW, single frequency, low noise integrated master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) with active noise suppression is presented. With active noise reduction this source demonstrated a maximum relative intensity noise of /spl minus/110 dB/Hz below the CW lasing level in the relaxation oscillation regime and a broadband RMS noise of 0.39% with respect to the CW lasing level in a 2 MHz bandwidth. Keywords
