Abstract
The pair correlation function, the screening of a fixed impurity charge, the correlation energy, the cohesive energy of alkali metals, and the plasmon dispersion relation in the small- limit are calculated using an expression for the dielectric function derived in a previous paper. Results are compared with those obtained from other theories.
