Abstract
Two children affected by cerebral hydatidosis are described. For preoperative diagnostic purposes computerised axial tomography appears currently to be the most suitable procedure. Complete surgical removal of the cyst, with methods preserving its integrity, seems to be the main factor for definitive recovery as the different outcomes in the two cases show. Keywords
