Abstract
Salmonella infection is a rare cause of rupture of the atherosclerotic abdominal aneurysm. A case never previously reported is presented in which salmonella infection occurred involving an aortofemoral bypass graft which had been inserted 10 years previously. The infection caused a leak in the region of the graft which presented as a haematoma in the thigh. Keywords
