Abstract
Does exercise fend off arteriosclerotic heart disease? If so, who should and who should not exercise? How much and what kind of exercise should patients undertake? The answers vary, but several facts are clear. Before patients plunge into any exercise program, they should first be examined. For persons with known or suspected heart disease, exercise should be restricted initially. Keywords
