Abstract
The first autopsy observation in a patient with Leydig cell tumor of the ovary is described. The patient presented the clinical features of the adreno-genital syndrome. An unrelated carcinoma of the lung confused the clinical picture and resulted in her death. Urinary excretion of 17-ketosteroids was normal. Excretion of follicle-stimulating hormone was low or absent. Comparison is made between this patient and the 4 others previously described, in which the diagnosis was made by surgical removal of the tumor. Keywords
