Constituent-quark description of nonleptonic hyperon decays

Abstract
An elementary framework is presented in which both S-wave and P-wave nonleptonic hyperon decays can be described satisfactorily from a constituent-quark standpoint. The picture is likely to be of use in future discussions of kaon, hyperon radiative, or heavy-quark decays.Keywords
