Abstract
The diffusion of water from glass is shown to be a reversible process. The equilibrium partial pressure of water for a soda-lime glass was 10 mm (Hg) at 500°C and 12 mm (Hg) at 550°C. In a very dry atmosphere the diffusion of water from the glass proceeded as well as in vacuum. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
