Abstract
Decision Support Systems (DSS) have been described as computer-based aids for management decision-makers dealing with semi-structured problems [Keen and Scott Morton, 1978]. DSS are differentiated from other MIS components in that they seek to establish a symbiosis of human mind and computer by allowing for a high degree of human-computer interaction and by enabling the manager-user to maintain direct control over the computer's tasks and their outcomes. Keywords
