Abstract
CHICAGO SOCIETY OF INTERNAL MEDICINE At the annual meeting of the Chicago Society of Internal Medicine held on May 25 the following officers were elected: president, Dr. Walter L. Palmer; vice president, Dr. Andrew C. Ivy; secretary-treasurer, Dr. Clarence F. G. Brown. FIFTEENTH ANNUAL SESSION OF AMERICAN CONGRESS OF PHYSICAL THERAPY The fifteenth annual clinical and scientific session of the American Congress of Physical Therapy will be held on September 7 to 11, at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, New York. The program includes many special features: sectional meetings in the specialties, symposia on short wave diathermy, hydrotherapy, exercise and electroresection. Fever therapy and the treatment of vascular diseases occupy an important place and will be discussed by prominent workers in the field. The educational aspects of physical therapy and the relationship of physical therapy technicians to physicians and hospital departments will be thoroughly dealt with.
