The clinical, roentgenographic and histopathologic findings in a case of multiple pulmonary fibroleiomyomatous hamartomas are presented together with a review of 7 previously reported cases. All patients were relatively asymptomatic females, between 38 and 58 years of age. The histopathologic characteristics of the pulmonary nodules are presented and the differential diagnosis is discussed. The roentgenographic findings consist of multiple, well circumscribed, noncalcified, rounded nodules in both lungs. The multiple nodules are an exception to the general rule that benign tumors of the lungs almost invariably present as solitary lesions.
