Abstract
While the sex difference in tooth size is small (4%), (well below the 11% difference in stature (adult) for the same group), it is larger than the sex difference in stature for these children during the prepubertal years. The sex difference in tooth size may estimate the magnitude of the chromosomally-determined and presumably Y-influenced size difference where steroid mediation is not involved. Keywords
