Abstract
We propose a set of integral equations for the -particle scattering amplitude. The kernal of these equations depends only upon the scattering amplitude for a lesser number of particles. The equations have a very compact form and reduce to the Faddeev equation in the case of three-particle scattering. Some applications to bound-state collisions and some approximations are discussed to indicate the relevance of these equations in the theory of nuclear reactions and the discussion of the independent-particle model.
