Vacuum stability and the Cabibbo angle

Abstract
It is shown that vacuum stability determines the Cabibbo angle . From a simple example we obtain and a nonelectromagnetic interaction. The effect of charm is included. We also discuss the superweak model of violation as an isotopic rotation through an angle .
