Abstract
The application of invariant imbedding techniques to the solution of optimal control problems has several advantages, such as reduction of the two-point-boundary-value problem to an initial value problem and numerical stability. In this paper an additional application of these techniques to the design of optimal feedback controllers is presented. A scheme for efficient storage of the required data is outlined. A simple example is given to illustrate the approach. Keywords
