The Question of Psychophysiologic Infertility: Some Negative Answers

Abstract
In a previous comparison of infertile and fertile women, although over-all results were negative, the data within the infertile group suggested a possible differentiation between patients with and those without specific gynecologic impairment: the “organic-specifics” reported better orgasm capacity and fewer homosexual experiences, but tended to draw less mature figures on the DAP test than the “nonspecifics.” To cross-validate these trends, a fresh sample of infertile subjects was selected and interviewed “blind.” The only group difference that met the criterion of statistical significance was the lesser maturity of figures drawn by members of the organic-specific subgroup.
