Complex Temperatures and Phase Transitions

Abstract
The thermodynamic limit is considered for complex temperatures, and a picture of a phase transition, similar to the Yang‐Lee picture, is proposed. For certain cases a representation of the partition function as an infinite product is obtained. Some simple models are considered.Keywords
