Abstract
An outbreak of Sonne dysentery was traced to a symp-tomless chronic carrier who spread the infection by food during his duties in the cook-house. Removal of infected cooks stopped the outbreak. Symptomless carriers are common, a history of diarrhoea at some time in the past can usually be obtained from them. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
